Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she was sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several shows on television. She was praised for her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. These include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historic miniseries Napoleon and many more. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
